It's once again time to review the performance of our membership services...

As you know, sports betting is filled with here-today, gone-tomorrow tipsters and to counteract this, we prefer to heavily focus on long-term performance i.e. over a period of at least 1 year.

So, if we were to sum up 2025 in a single sentence it would be something along the lines of...

"Not quite as good as last year, but still very profitable."

In hindsight, with 2024 being an truly exceptional year for certain services, it shouldn't have been a surprise that we didn't quite match those profits this year.

On the other hand, with the launch of our brand new members platform and a whole host of new content added throughout the year, we're all set for a big 2026 so with that in mind, let's see which services are likely to serve us best going forward...

To provide a clear comparison, we have focused on level stakes profit and we have excluded multiple bets, given that the occasional big winning multiple can heavily skew P/L figures...

WINNER: LUCRATIVE PRO

Level Stakes Profit: 1,144 points

Our baseline measure for profitability is the free Lucrative Tips service, and we can clearly see the vast majority of premium services have outperformed it. If you don't already have one, investing in a premium membership should prove an easy way to boost your betting profits in 2026.

Lucrative Pro is the winner in this category, which isn't a great surprise since you get access to every single service on our members platform and, depending on which services you use, up to 11X the profits of the free service.

An unusually similar performance for our 3 multiple betting strategies in 2025, with Bargain Punt gaining a slight edge:

As previously stated, the occasional big win can skew things so we've included the average annual profit too. Comparing these figures, it's clear to see 2025 has been an exceptional year for Bargain Punt and digging into the individual results, almost all the profit came from just 2 big winners, one in April and the other in July.

If we compare this to our multiple bets from The Challenge:

Strike Rate: 28%

Average Annual Profit: 2,751 points

Its clear that The Challenge is the best long-term performer. When in doubt, it's always a good idea to zoom out and look at the entirety of a services results history, before deciding which is likely to produce the best results in future.

If we move past "points" and focus on the annual return on investment (ROI), we can see how much our bankroll grew for each individual service. This is not to be confused with "return on stakes" - many tipsters use this statistic but we find it less useful to measure profitability...

WINNER: Haymaker

Level Stakes Profit: +143 points

Strike Rate: 44%

Annual ROI: 143%

Haymaker has topped the chart this year, largely due to the high strike rate which minimises losing runs and allows us to stake slightly more aggressively. He is a fairly selective tipster, posting 10 - 12 bets per week on average.

The ROI for our other premium services include a high of 115% for The Challenge (not counting multiple bets) down a baseline of 50% for Lucrative Tips.

If we compare these figures to the gold standard in mainstream investment, the S&P500 index fund with an ROI of 16.4% in 2025, we can see sports betting continues to provide outsized returns. Only one asset in our "beyond betting" portfolio outperformed Haymaker this year - Robinhood with an annual ROI of 187%.
